Subject Matter Experts
Management Concepts, Inc. is currently recruiting for Subject Matter Experts (SME) to work on an independent-contractor basis to assist in the development and periodic updates of courses. We are looking for expertise in the following subject areas: Federal Acquisition & Contracting, Analytics, Federal Financial Management, Grants Management, Federal Human Resources, Leadership & Management, and Program & Project Management.
As part of a project team, the SME provides in-depth knowledge and expertise that, in collaboration with the instructional designer (ID), result in a product that meets the participant-centered training objectives. Examples of SME contributions include:
- Providing context and drafts of technically accurate content to support the ID in creating or updating project deliverables
· Reviews project deliverables for technical accuracy and currency, ensuring that there are no gaps in content, content does not exceed the product’s scope, and that it flows well
Professional Experience
- Advanced degree in related field or a minimum of ten years of relevant experience as a practitioner
- Experience working with the Federal government preferred
- Experience in education or training is a plus
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the SME on a project team as described earlier in this description
- Participate in team meetings
- Meet project schedules and manage competing demands
