Starting pay will be between $18-$22 an hour depending on cannabis experience & knowledge. You will also be eligible for monthly incentives & sparks.

We are currently looking to expand our team with knowledgeable and customer-oriented individuals for the position of a Budtender. (Retail Experience and Cannabis Knowledge required)
Job Summary:
As a Budtender at Mango Cannabis, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with selecting the right cannabis products to meet their needs. You will provide guidance on various strains, consumption methods, and product options while ensuring compliance with all state regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Verify customers' identification and medical cards.
- Stay informed about new products and industry trends.
- Thrive in a fast paced, high volume, and detail oriented work environment.
- Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
- Staying updated on new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends through both in house and outside resources.
- Accurately processing customers' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Ensuring that the dispensary is clean and well-organized at all times.
- Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products.
- Correctly weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products as required.
- Taking inventory of cannabis products and ensuring that the sales floor is adequately stocked.
- Employees must follow and comply with all rules and regulations set forth by the State of New York.
- Able to multi-task and work at a quick, efficient pace.
- Must have a strong work ethic, be dependable and have a positive attitude.
- Self-motivated to be productive and proactive.
- Ability to adapt in adversity.
- Must possess strong troubleshooting and problem skills.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably as a budtender.
- Knowledge of different cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.
