Our client, Food Manufacturing Industry is seeking a Food Safety Quality Assurance Supervisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have HACCP experties which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title : Food Safety Quality Assurance Supervisor
Location : Columbus, OH
What’s the Job?
Implements, trains and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality prior to delivery
Communicates and trains personnel on new directives, policies, or procedures to FSQA staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.
Identifies quality defects and food safety issues and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends solutions to these issues
Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations
Ensures work environments are adequate and safe
Ensure operational compliance with food safety and quality are met
Ensure production is reaching goals set by departmental and company leadership
Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
What’s Needed?
Undergraduate Degree in Agricultural Sciences, Business, Engineer, or Industry specific field of study a plus
Three to five years of supervisory experience in Further Processing food manufacturing facility or related field required
Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP, SQF and OSHA
