Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for maintaining and repairing high-volume food manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment in a timely and efficient manner
- Complete maintenance projects, including PM tasks and work orders as assigned
- Read electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams
- Write parts requests and complete work orders
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Perform building inspections and routines
- Communicate with other team members
- Perform Lock-Out-Tag-Out when necessary
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a maintenance mechanic/technician role within manufacturing
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, including experience with AC/DC motors, motor control circuits, photo-eyes, sensors, and conveyance systems
- Familiarity with CMMS work order systems
- Experience working within an FDA-regulated setting required
- Good attention to detail and ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English
- Experience reading blueprints and drawings essential
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Able to work at heights from ladders or scissor lifts
- Able to work around strong magnets
Compensation and Benefits
- Nights: 6:00pm-6:00am, Continental Shift with benefits
- $30.25 or $34.75 plus shift differential
