We are seeking a skilled and reliable Paint Prep / Sandblaster to join our team. This role requires experience in either paint preparation or sandblasting, and autobody experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities Include
Preparing surfaces for painting by sanding, grinding, and cleaning.
Performing sandblasting to remove rust, paint, and other coatings from surfaces.
Masking and taping off areas to be protected from paint or sandblasting.
Mixing paints and other coatings according to specifications.
Applying primers and sealers.
Maintaining equipment and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Following all safety protocols and procedures.
Assisting with other shop tasks as needed.
Skills/Qualifications
Some experience required in either paint preparation or sandblasting.
Autobody Experience Highly Preferred.
Ability to use sanding, grinding, and sandblasting equipment.
Knowledge of surface preparation techniques.
Ability to mix and apply paints and coatings.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Reliable and punctual.
Pay
$18.00 to $20.00 per hour
