The Product Line Manager for the Construction and Restoration Systems Division is responsible for overseeing the development, management, and performance of the product line. This role involves strategic planning, product development, market analysis, and collaboration with various departments to ensure the success and profitability of the product line.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Development
- Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy for the Construction and Restoration Systems Division with focus on epoxies and sealants products.
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
- Collaborate with R&D to develop new products and enhance existing products, ensuring they meet customer needs and regulatory standards.
- Define product specifications, features, and performance criteria in collaboration with technical teams.
Product Management
- Manage the product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, ensuring timely and successful product launches.
- Create and maintain product roadmaps, prioritizing product features and enhancements based on market demands and business objectives.
- Monitor product performance and profitability, making data-driven decisions to optimize the product line.
- Develop pricing strategies and manage product positioning to maximize market penetration and profitability.
Marketing and Sales Support
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and sales tools.
- Provide training and support to the sales team, ensuring they have the knowledge and resources to effectively sell the product line.
- Engage with key customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and build strong relationships.
Financial Management
- Prepare and manage the product line budget, including sales forecasts, revenue projections, and expense management.
- Analyze financial performance and develop strategies to achieve financial targets and objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance teams to ensure product availability and quality.
- Coordinate with regulatory and compliance teams to ensure all products meet relevant standards and certifications.
- Engage with senior management to align product strategies with overall business goals and objectives.
- Coordinate with Technical Services on the submissions of products to DOTs and other entities to obtain the required products certifications and approvals and ensure the DOT QPL log is up to date in CRM.
- Perform assigned tasks in conformance with procedures and instructions established in the Business Management System (BMS) and in compliance with applicable Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in your assigned product line, with a proven track record in managing product lines within the construction and restoration or a related industry
- Strong knowledge of construction and restoration systems, materials, and industry standards
- Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required (MBA or advanced degree a plus)
- Proven external sales experience in relevant industry/products
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to interpret market data and financial reports
- Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; able to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet navigation
- Valid driver’s license with ability to travel heavily within the territory.
