Maple Knoll Village, a continuing care retirement community, located in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking full-time compassionate RN Supervisor to add to our nursing team! We’re currently looking for a full-time Dayshift Supervisor (7a-730p). The pay range for this position is $38.00- $44.00 per hour. Pay is based on prior experience. This position will require you to work every other weekend, and some holidays.
The RN Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of nursing services in the Skilled Nursing facility and ensure the highest quality care is provided to residents. This role involves supervising and guiding the nursing team, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for both residents and staff.
As RN Supervisor your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervise and provide guidance to nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and STNAs, ensuring they are performing their duties effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure staff adherence to facility policies, procedures, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assess, plan, and oversee the delivery of resident care, ensuring each resident’s health needs are met with the highest standards of care.
- Monitor and evaluate resident conditions, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
- Provide hands-on care when needed, including administering medications, wound care, and other nursing tasks.
- Develop and maintain effective staffing to ensure adequate coverage each shift.
- Communicate effectively with residents and their families to address care concerns and keep them informed of resident health statuses.
- Hold a valid RN license in the State of OH or Active RN Multi-state license
- CPR and First Aide certification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing, with at least 1-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role in a senior living or long-term care setting.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems (Point Click Care PCC) and documentation standards.
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude toward senior care.
- Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
- Demonstrate professional excellence and customer service to residents and their families.
