Inventory Control Analyst

Essential functions: 

• Daily review of material inventory levels.
• Actively manage component and finished goods inventory levels to achieve desired turns and service levels.
• Maintain appropriate level of packaging materials and other operational materials needed to support manufacturing operations
• Identify cost reduction opportunities
• Entry of daily stock transactions
• Weekly Cycle counting and year end plant counts at both locations
• System set-up of new stock numbers and revisions as needed. bill of materials (BOM) set up and maintenance.
• Communicate low/out inventory status to appropriate staff so accurate information is available to communicate to customers.
• Weekly reporting and meetings
• Perform other related duties as required if trained or qualified to do. 
• This position may require some travel 10% - 15%

Essential Skills:

1. Strong Microsoft Excel skills with ERP systems experience required.
2. Accuracy of work product is essential.
3. Analytical and process-oriented skills.
4. Attention to detail and the ability to accurately gather and report information.
5. Knowledge of customer service process.
6. Ability to manage multiple priorities and problem-solve in an effective, timely and cost-appropriate manner.
7. Must be self-motivating and capable of working both independently and in a team

Educational Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree, plus 1-2 years' experience. 

OR

Previous industry experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirement.
