POSITION SUMMARY:
The Ohio Refining Division ES&S Department is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Environmental Professional at the Canton Refinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementation and management of environmental issues and programs in the assigned media.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead teams for compliance of air regulation programs.
- Review new regulations for potential impacts on the refinery. Develop and implement new environmental compliance programs in conformance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Manage and improve existing environmental compliance programs.
- Prepare required regulatory reports in area of responsibility.
- Provide compliance assistance to other departments within the refinery.
- Work as a member of an Area Team to support day-to-day operation of the refinery in compliance with applicable requirements and company policies.
- Participate on incident investigations and implement corrective actions as requested.
- Participate in Environmental audits and develop corrective actions as required.
- Perform other requirements as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher is required.
- Chemical Engineering major is preferred.
- 3 years of work experience is preferred.
