Summary Of Position
The P&C Representative will perform a variety of duties to promote associate well-being and successful onboarding experience. In addition, they will be responsible for managing and administering Arizona Grand Resort & Spa’s associate benefit, compensation programs, health and life insurance. They will be the point of contact for new associates as they acclimate into their new role.
Essential Functions
Education: High School Diploma preferred.
Experience: One year of Human Resources experience required and previous employee relations experience
preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
The P&C Representative will perform a variety of duties to promote associate well-being and successful onboarding experience. In addition, they will be responsible for managing and administering Arizona Grand Resort & Spa’s associate benefit, compensation programs, health and life insurance. They will be the point of contact for new associates as they acclimate into their new role.
Essential Functions
- Assist with any P & C general inquiries.
- Performs 60-day check-ins with new associates.
- Ensures that new hires provide certifications and other compliance trainings upon completion of onboarding.
- In charge of the following aspects of recruiting: on-line position order maintenance, consult with department managers as to current openings, receive/track openings and applications/resumes, advertising, assisting with reference and background checks for managers (as needed).
- Conduct offers for all associates (verbal/written).
- Process I-9’s/E-verify via background check company.
- Data Entry into HRIS system: new hire, 2nd job codes for all active employees.
- Conduct new hire document verification and orientation.
- Communicate the understanding of the resort’s service standards and guest expectations.
- In charge of the following aspects of benefit enrollment:
- Ensuring employees know what benefits are offered by the company.
- Assisting employees with the enrollment process.
- Answering any questions employees have about their benefits.
- Keeping up-to-date records of each employee's benefits profile
- Ensuring the company's benefits and leave-of-absence (Personal & FMLA) policies are upheld to standard.
- Responsible for Work Comp Program from injury monitoring, to return to work program to Safety Meeting/Program Coordination.
- Actively participates in all P & C functions/meetings and hotel functions/meetings as required by People & Culture Leadership.
- Assist with other P & C responsibilities as directed by the Director of People & Culture and Senior P & C Manager.
