We are looking for a results driven Customer Service Specialist who wants to take our Customer Service Call Center to the next level of customer satisfaction. Our USA Corporate headquarters is based in Somerville, NJ and showrooms are located in NYC and Miami.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for receiving incoming customer calls/emails, including product inquiries, and order placing,
- Resolves escalated customer calls through problem solving and expertise in all products, processes, and positive relationship building skills
- Data entry of customer service related items including sales orders, faxes, product transfers, and credits.
- Access customer databases or other files to research customer inquiries. Maintains all product and promotional materials in an orderly manner.
- Performs day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Work Experience and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of customer service experience.
- Retail experience preferred
- Microsoft Office / computer literate.
- SAP experience preferred.
- EDI experience required.
Skills/ Competencies
- Solid Excel skills are necessary
- Technology savvy, intuitive handling of software, portals and applications
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills & detail oriented
- Strong customer facing communications skills (oral & written)
- Self-starter with ability to work independently, under pressure and handle high volumes of calls and emails
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
- Excellent data entry skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to follow through on assigned tasks
- Excellent problem solving and conflict resolutions skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
