Position: eLearning Developer
Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented eLearning Developer to join our client's Human Cyber Risk team. In this role, you will design and develop engaging and effective eLearning modules and training materials. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of instructional design principles, technology trends, and adult learning theories, with experience in multimedia integration, including branching, videos, animations, simulations, and gamification.
Key Responsibilities
- Course Development: Design and develop interactive eLearning courses using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software.
- Instructional Design: Apply instructional design principles to create engaging, effective, and adaptive learning experiences for diverse learners.
- Multimedia Integration: Enhance learning experiences by incorporating graphics, audio, video, animations, and other multimedia elements.
- Content Modifications: Edit and refine course materials, including text, images, and assessments, to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with learning objectives.
- Project Management: Manage multiple eLearning projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project deadlines and budgets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with training managers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and stakeholders to review storyboard content and integrate feedback into course development.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure courses function correctly and provide a seamless user experience.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in eLearning and instructional design.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Content Development, Educational Technology, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in eLearning development or instructional design.
- Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong understanding of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find creative solutions to design challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript for custom eLearning development.
- Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, and other eLearning standards.
- Experience in video production and editing.
