What You Will Do
- Manage recruitment and hiring for hourly associates, including international J-1 interns, by sourcing candidates, maintaining job postings, extending offers, and overseeing onboarding through ATS (Taleo).
- Provide service to hotel associates by responding to their inquiries and addressing their needs.
- Consistently apply company and property policies while supporting associate programs.
- Administer associate benefit programs and maintain accurate records of leaves of absence.
- Maintain all associate files and records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and up-to-date information in both HRIS (PeopleSoft) and physical personnel files.
- Oversee the filing of Worker’s Compensation incidents and related materials, including OSHA logs and other required filings.
- Support performance management administration, including annual performance reviews for hotel associates.
- Support orientation, compliance training, and all brand-specific training and audits as required.
- Assist the Director of HR in auditing and compliance to ensure adherence to company policies and employment laws.
- Four- year college degree in related field (preferred)
- Capable of multi task and handling many situations at once
- High degree of organization and motivation
- Outgoing, professional, and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently with high level of confidence
- Ability to maintain the professionalism and confidentiality necessary in a Human Resource office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience in Human Resources preferred.
