Essential Function
- Promotes excellent guest/associate rapport by reacting promptly, efficiently and courteously to all requests.
- Reports all repair needs to the housekeeping management.
- Reports all floor/carpet care needs to the housekeeping office.
- Assists with all general cleaning and rehabilitation projects, as directed.
- Maintains all public and back of the house areas as assigned.
- Takes responsibility for all chemicals and equipment assigned.
- Participates in the promotion of safety and security in assigned work area.
- Supports work efforts of other housekeeping associates, as directed.
- Completes all assigned projects in a timely manner.
- Follows appropriate standards of conduct, hygiene, uniform and appearance
- Represents the Hotel with professionalism and decorum.
- Performs any assignments as requested by management.
- Works safely while using all equipment
- Keeps all equipment used in clean condition.
- Attends all required Housekeeping Department and other meetings
- Performs other duties as assign
- Vacuums all assigned areas.
- Cleans and re-supplies bathrooms as needed
- Cleans entrance glass as needed
- Cleans offices when requested
- Maintains pool and fitness area
- Cleans lobby, bars and lounges as required
- Cleans Guest Elevators
- Cleans guestrooms as needed
- Cleans garage elevator lobbies
- Completes laundering of rags and uniforms
- Washes guestroom glassware and coffee filters
- Cleans 2nd floor conference room hall & bathrooms
- Cleans and mop 2nd floor hallway
- Must be punched in, in proper uniform and ready to work as scheduled.
- Must be detail-oriented
- Must represent hotel in a courteous and well-groomed manner
- Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, lift, grasp, stretch and push a cart on a regular basis
