What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at Mari Jean Hotel?
Front Desk Hosts manage hotel reservations, special requests, and room inventory; communicate with pre-arrival Guests seeking to optimize their vacation experience; graciously greet, check-in and checkout hotel Guests; gather and secure personally identifiable information; process secure charges and payments; assist with luggage; professionally and knowledgeably answer the phone, following up to completion on all requests; take new arrivals to their rooms to familiarize them with the features of their room; sell available rooms to walk-in Guests and by phone; and other duties assigned by leadership as necessary.
A willingness to make eye contact and smile while providing top-notch Guest service must be woven into your DNA.
Shifts can begin as early as 7:30 AM while others can end as late as 3:00 AM depending on the day of the week and hotel occupancy levels.
