This position serves as the first point of contact for students and parents seeking assistance with financial aid programs, and is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service. This role includes assisting students with the completion of financial aid and scholarship materials, as well as handling escalated financial aid issues and concerns.Essential Functions50%- Provide accurate and consistent front-line customer service / assistance to students and parents regarding financial aid programs and related services. Analyze / interpret regulations and respond to inquiries requiring detailed knowledge of regulations and policies. Ensure compliance with all financial aid policies, and adhere to superior level of customer service.20%- Use computer database and basic office equipment to assist students with electronic or paper financial aid forms / documents.20%- Support all day to day operations in the Financial Aid office.10%- Review / process reports, awarding, answer phones, as well as communicate with students via e-mail and chat.
