MEDICAL ASSISTANT for Aesthetics practice in SANTA MONICA. Full Time, Permanent position

About The Position

• Room patients, take medical history & reason for the visit
• Assist with lasers, injectables, body contouring, medical spa services and acne/rosacea treatments
• Maintain rooms, medical supplies, and patient charts
• Answer questions about treatments and products, prepare patients for treatments
• Assist Front Office by greeting patients, making and confirming appointments, collecting payments
• Insurance verification, call in prescriptions, help with procedure questions and instructions.
• (No blood draw or injections handled in this role)
  
  

Requirements

• 2 years' prior experience as a Medical Assistant in a private medical office
• Have an interest in learning the non-invasive full body elective procedures and professional skincare products offered by the practice to educate patients
• Professional appearance, good communication skills, computer proficient
• History of being punctual & dependable
• Ability to handle a fast-paced schedule, prioritize appropriately, and be proactive with job duties
• No blood draw or injections experience required
  
  

SCHEDULE And COMPENSATION

• Monday - Friday 9a-5p
• $22-25/hr depending on experience
