About the Job: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Kitchen Operations Manager to oversee our nutrition and culinary services program. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a commercial kitchen, including initial setup and ongoing maintenance, as well as planning and organizing all food preparation and service operations for our Boys & Girls Club programming year-round.
Responsibilities:- Manage a commercial kitchen, including initial setup and ongoing maintenance
- Plan, organize, and manage all food preparation and service operations
- Determine production schedules and staff requirements to ensure timely delivery of services
- Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformance to established standards
- Report accidents, incidents, and disciplinary actions to the BGC Manager
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum two years of experience in a commercial kitchen with strong knowledge of kitchen operation procedures
- Must have the ability to direct work of youth helpers and staff assistants
- Must have Professional Rescuer First Aid and CPR certification and Food Handler's Certificate
