What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sheriff's Office Assistant Jail Administrator position at Marinette County Government?
Work with Jail Administrator to provide leadership and direction in planning, administrating and managing Marinette County Jail operations and Jail personnel; assign duties to subordinates to ensuring all policies, procedures, rules, State regulations, court orders and directives are implemented and enforced; assist Jail Administrator to develop Policy and Procedures in compliance with State and Federal Laws reducing failures, errors and/or mistakes which may result in significant damage to property, loss in funds, subjection to law suits or even loss of life.
QUALIFICATIONS: Associates Degree in corrections or law enforcement; three years in corrections or law enforcement field; supervisory experience preferred; insurance acceptable driver’s license; active Jail Officer State Certification, TIME System Certification, CPR Certification; no felony convictions.
