TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER
Location : Remote
Misfits & Machines is seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to drive efficiency, structure and execution across our technology initiatives. This role is the technology-world equivalent of a TV producer, ensuring that our talented engineers, AI specialists and product teams are aligned, resourced, and moving toward successful product launches.
You should be comfortable working in a prototype environment where technical solutions and requirements are unknown and experimentation is highly valued. You will bridge the gap between vision and execution, ensuring that requirements from stakeholders and experimental insights are shaped into cohesive, actionable plans.
ROLE OVERVIEW
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that requires technical fluency, strong organizational skills, and the ability to foster cross-functional collaboration between engineers, creatives and business leaders. This role reports to our SVP of Strategic Partnerships.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Project Planning & Execution – Develop structured project plans, milestones, and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and engineering capacity.
- Stakeholder & Requirement Management – Gather, refine, and shape diverse technical requirements from leadership, product teams and experimental initiatives into structured development plans.
- Resource & Workflow Coordination – Partner with engineering, product and creative teams to allocate resources efficiently and ensure optimal productivity.
- Risk & Timeline Management – Proactively identify risks and roadblocks, develop mitigation strategies and ensure projects stay on track.
- Agile & Iterative Execution – Facilitate Agile processes, sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
- Process Optimization & Scalability – Implement best practices and workflows that improve team efficiency and project visibility.
- Cross-Functional Communication – Serve as the primary bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders , ensuring clarity and transparency on project progress and expectations.
