What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Marketing/Marketing Operations Manager position at Marketron?
Marketron is seeking a savvy, versatile professional to support product marketing and marketing operations. The role will own product marketing tasks including product messaging, product launches, sales enablement resources like product one-sheets, updates and release emails, traffic product newsletters and participate in product-related core team meetings.
The position will also maintain competitive intelligence for all products and keep sales and other stakeholders informed on changing market trends.
The role will also be the marketing owner of our LMS (learning management system), creating technical and how-to documents, updating as needed, ensuring our customers have correct access and other administrative tasks.
Each month, the role will submit reporting information related to product campaigns and LMS metrics.
Regarding administrative and operational responsibilities, the role will maintain project management software and enter projects as well as help with data quality and validation of marketing lists.

Key Responsibilities
· Identify customer needs, key personas, market trends/competitive landscape and build differentiated positioning and messaging for Marketron’s products.
· Work closely with product management and technical teams to understand and translate technical and product features to benefit-focused messaging.
· Develop compelling product/feature narratives with clear, consistent messaging through a strong customer focus.
· Create technical documents, product messaging, sales one-sheets, newsletter content and release emails.
· Update and maintain product marketing messaging matrix for all software.
· Manage the LMS, including updating documents, reporting, uploading documents and other administrative tasks.
· Analyze marketing opportunities and identify marketing targets and sub-targets, competitive analysis, and identify new potential solutions or offers.
· Manage multiple programs and juggle various stages of products.
· Be the main administrator for project management software.
· Attend core product meetings, marketing meetings and other ad-hoc meetings for product-related projects and campaigns.
· Help support sales and marketing operations as needed, including data quality, Pardot tasks and reporting.
· Finalize marketing content submission forms and update content calendar with completed content.
· Maintain templates for various internal documents.
· Copy edit and review content as needed.
