Position Title: Senior Vice President, Sales
Reports To: Chief Revenue Officer
Position Summary:
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Sales will be responsible for scaling the Digital Engineering and Data & Analytics Services business in the Telecom, Media, and Technology (TMT) sector. It is a leadership role, responsible for growing revenue, maintaining strategic partnerships, and managing a high-performing sales team. The SVP will play a key role in shaping the company’s sales processes, identifying market opportunities, and developing strategic initiatives to drive long-term growth in the TMT industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve high growth in the Telecom, Media, and Technology sector
- Oversee the creation and optimization of sales processes, methodologies, and tools to drive performance and improve win rates
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, providing guidance on strategic account management, deal structuring, and negotiation tactics
- Ensure the alignment of sales goals with overall company objectives and market opportunities
Revenue Generation & Business Development
- Drive new business acquisition, targeting enterprise clients, large-scale accounts, and strategic partnerships across Telecom, Media, and Technology sectors
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, C-level executives, and decision-makers in prospective client organizations
- Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and optimizing cross-selling and up-selling efforts
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align sales strategies with product innovations and market demands
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Stay ahead of market trends, including shifts in the Telecom, Media, and Technology sectors, technological advancements, and customer needs.
- Monitor competitive activity, identify industry shifts, and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide market feedback to executive leadership regarding customer demands, product performance, and sales performance metrics.
Financial & Performance Management
- Establish and track KPIs for the sales team, ensuring goals are met in line with the annual growth targets
- Manage the sales pipeline, sales forecasting, and revenue performance to achieve sustainable growth and profitability
- Regularly review sales reports, provide performance analysis, and recommend corrective actions to meet financial objectives
Collaboration & Cross-functional Alignment
- Work closely with the executive leadership team to align sales strategies with broader company goals and priorities
- Partner with marketing to drive lead generation and branding initiatives within the Telecom, Media, and Technology sectors
- Collaborate with product development teams to ensure customer requirements are being met and that products are positioned effectively in the market
Thought Leadership & Industry Engagement
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums to strengthen the brand and build thought leadership
- Stay up to date with developments in the Telecom, Media, and Technology sectors, ensuring the company’s sales strategies remain innovative and ahead of industry trends
Customer & Partner Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention
- Resolve any escalated issues or concerns quickly and effectively, ensuring customer expectations are met
- Act as an escalation point for the sales team, assisting in managing complex deals and negotiations
Key Requirements:
Experience
- 10 years of senior-level sales leadership experience within the Telecom, Media, and Technology sectors
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Demonstrated ability to lead a large sales team, including hiring, training, and mentoring top-performing sales professionals

- Strong understanding of the Telecom, Media, and Technology industry landscape, including current trends, challenges, and opportunities
- Expertise in sales strategy development, pipeline management, and CRM tools
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

Education
