Under supervision, performs mid to expert level mechanical, repair, and preventive maintenance on equipment in accordance with manufacturer's manuals, diagrams, sketches, etc. Electrical and systems troubleshooting are also key responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and preventative maintenance, as well as experience working in an industrial setting.

Job Description
Under supervision, performs mid to expert level mechanical, repair, and preventive maintenance on equipment in accordance with manufacturer's manuals, diagrams, sketches, etc. Electrical and systems troubleshooting are also key responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and preventative maintenance, as well as experience working in an industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Follows all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions and guidelines.
- Performs mid to expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance, including observing devices in operation to locate the root cause of the issue.
- Identifies and sources parts, supplies, and repair items as necessary.
- Independently performs maintenance per industry standards.
- Complies with 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Assists with the water treatment preventative maintenance and general upkeep.
- Drives and participates in OFI activities - processes, results and cost savings.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED). All combinations of education and experience are evaluated during the screening process.
- 2 years' experience in an industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
- Ability to work as team player and stay self-motivated.
- Basic skills in welding with Tig, Mig and Stick Welders.
- Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
