Job Description
We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector to perform final inspections on railcars. The successful candidate will ensure that all work is completed and in compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. This role also involves supporting the production team with other quality initiatives as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to use railroad gauges, testing techniques, and test equipment necessary for railcar inspections
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to instruct employees on proper railcar maintenance activities using established procedures and training materials
- Able to perform tasks that require climbing and balancing on ladders and platforms
