About the Role
This is a safety-sensitive position in our production and packaging facility in Southeast Iowa, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of our premium family farm-raised corn-fed Black Angus beef. As a Fabrication Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring product quality, inspecting various pieces of meat for adherence to specifications, and following Good Manufacturing Procedures and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor product quality and detect any defects or irregularities
- Inspect various pieces of meat for adherence to specifications
- Fabricate and maintain accurate records of inspections and audits
- Develop and implement corrective actions to address any quality issues
This is an hourly, management support position that requires strong written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of HACCP Process (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), and experience with email communications and Microsoft Office (Excel).
