We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist with a strong background in Maintenance Billing to join our growing Property Management / Real Estate Company. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing accounts payable processes, handling maintenance-related invoices, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial recordkeeping.
Key Responsibilities :
Process and review accounts payable invoices, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
Manage and track maintenance billing for various projects, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
Maintain relationships with vendors and service providers to resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies.
Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing, including reconciliations and reporting.
Monitor and manage the payment schedule, ensuring compliance with payment terms and policies.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate cost coding and budgeting for maintenance projects.
Ensure all vendor payments are made on time and comply with company policies.
Assist in preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation for annual audits.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, with a focus on maintenance billing or related industries.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial regulations.
Experience with accounting software, QuickBooks Online, and Excel proficiency required.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with vendors and internal teams.
Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
