Marous Management Services  is currently seeking a full-time  Facilities Manager  for the Ohio portfolio, based in  Willoughby, OH ! In this role, you will be responsible managing company-owned facilities assuring the safety, security, comfort and wellbeing of the tenants and staff.

Schedule : Monday-Friday 8 am – 5 pm, rotating on-call, depending on property location additional hours may be required for snow removal or pool maintenance.

What you’ll be doing :

  • Assist in the Development of and / or implementation of the Marous 5 P’s Business Plan to ensure the property meets or exceeds the expectations of the owners, residents, vendors, and all customers.
  • Supervise property maintenance personnel, housekeeping personnel, grounds / porters and subcontractors, when applicable.
  • Work directly with the Portfolio Manager to address concerns / issues.
  • Risk Management
  • Create systems and processes for tracking preventative maintenance, yearly inspections, etc.
  • Ensure all interior and exterior repairs to maintain apartments, common areas, buildings, and grounds are completed according to established procedures.
  • Assist in performing all snow removal as outlined in the policy and procedure manual or as required by the needs of the property, including daily completion of snow removal log.
  • Schedule, inspect and / or perform grounds maintenance ensuring high level curb appeal.
  • Continually monitor budgeted maintenance expenses.
  • Respond to and correct after hour emergencies on a timely basis.
  • Obtain and manage PM bids and processes.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

    • What we look for :

  • High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver’s License –  required
  • Ability to travel up to 50% throughout Ohio –  required
  • At least 2 years of maintenance supervisor experience within the property management industry. –  required
  • Strong management and interpersonal abilities.
  • Solid organizational and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage and oversee multiple projects at various stages with a keen eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • This position requires proficient computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and basic internet navigation. The ability to quickly learn new software and systems is also essential.

    Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
