This is a fully on-site position based at our office, providing a unique opportunity to be an integral part of our dynamic and supportive team.
Position Summary
The Customer Financing/Experience Specialist will report to the Sales Manager and play a key role in supporting Solara’s network of Third-Party Dealers and Sales Representatives through project intake assessments.
In this role, you’ll conduct accurate pre-surveys to help customers select optimal options, create detailed scopes of work, manage projects using our CRM, and ensure project viability with regular account reviews. Acting as a critical link between Solara’s partners and sales team, you’ll host consultations, review contracts, and oversee finance documentation to maintain a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a foundational understanding of solar energy systems, required documentation, contracts, and finance processes.
- Review contracts and financing information for accuracy and compliance.
- Verify property ownership and manage documentation requirements.
- Ensure all paperwork is complete, accurate, and uploaded into the Solara CRM.
- Document additional project costs and track progress toward daily, weekly, and monthly KPI goals.
- Maintain familiarity with financing products, equipment, pricing structures, and state/utility requirements.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support team success.
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or GED required.
Experience
- 1 year of solar operations experience preferred.
- 1 year of experience with CRM or project management software preferred.
- 1 year of accounting, contract review, or document management experience preferred.
