What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intellectual Property and Technology Lawyer - Top US law firm - NYC position at Marsden?
I am working with a top US law firm on the growth of its Commercial IP/IT team. The team work on a mix of standalone IP and tech matters, transactional support work and general advisory work, including on data privacy and cyber security issues.
You would have the opportunity to work with some incredible partners, who are among the top ranked individuals for work in IPTech in NYC. The role would work for someone who has more of a niche focus - for example strong transactional IP or data privacy experience would be of interest. Equally, it would work for someone who wants to maintain a broader practice (there may also be opportunity to do some IP litigation but this is not the key focus of this role).
Ideally you will have between 4-7 years of experience in a private practice setting, at a comparable firm. If you fall slightly either side of these parameters but you have the right experience, your application may still be considered. I am happy to have an initial conversation about your candidacy if you reach out to me.
I would be interested in speaking to associates in top IPTech practices in Australia or Canada about this role.
This role is at a market paying law firm.
