What This Role Will Do
As an HR Generalist, you’ll be a key player in administering payroll and benefits, managing recruiting support, and helping to create and implement HR processes and policies. You’ll work closely with our CHRO, bringing your hands-on experience and expertise to help streamline our HR operations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys tackling new challenges and is always looking for smarter ways to work.
Key Responsibilities
- Payroll & Benefits Administration: Oversee and manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Administer employee benefits, including open enrollments and updates.
- Recruiting Support: Assist in the recruitment process by conducting initial candidate screenings, coordinating interviews, and supporting the offer process.
- Process & Policy Development: Collaborate with the CHRO to create and implement HR policies and processes that align with our company’s growth objectives.
- HRIS Management: Set up and maintain the ADP Workforce Now system, ensuring all employee data is accurate and up-to-date. Utilize Excel and AI tools to improve HR efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws and maintain accurate personnel records.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new hires and ensure smooth transitions during offboarding.
- HR Projects: Lead and participate in HR projects that support our company’s growth and improve overall HR operations.
What Makes You Successful in This Role
- Experience: You have 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, ideally in a fast-paced or rapidly growing company.
- Technical Expertise: You’re proficient in ADP Workforce Now and Excel, and you’re familiar with AI tools for HR.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. PHR or SHRM certification is a plus.
- Soft Skills: You have strong communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
