The role requires working with cross-functional teams, advising leadership, and driving the technology roadmap for the Wireless Lab.

- Candidates will be required to take a quick Glider assessment (12 simple questions) and participate in an onsite interview.
- Candidates MUST have hands-on experience and be experts in Red Hat OpenShift. This position is critical as the sole OpenShift expert leading the transition from Rancher to Red Hat OpenShift.
- Must have hands-on experience with:
- Planning, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, deploying applications, and maintenance of Red Hat OpenShift systems.
- Experience in 5G Core is a plus but not required.

Major Duties And Responsibilities
- Actively supports efforts to enhance the customer experience.
- Designs, implements, administers, monitors, and troubleshoots systems within assigned areas.
- Interprets business requirements and designs detailed system architectures.
- Mentors technical staff and provides leadership in technology decisions.
- Researches, designs, and documents complex systems to support wireless engineering.
- Develops technical documentation and reviews it for accuracy and clarity.
- Establishes the integrity and capacity of wireless lab systems through detailed testing and documentation.
- Evaluates vendors and solutions to make informed recommendations.
- Provides technical support and guidance to lab personnel and ensures compliance with technical standards.
- Manages tasks with cross-functional teams and handles multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ensures adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge:
- Advanced knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift, including installation, configuration, application deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of network design, architecture, protocols, and topology.
- Expertise in TCP/IP, OSI Model, and network devices.
- Proficiency with containers and orchestration systems (e.g., Docker, Rancher, OpenShift).
- Knowledge of various operating systems, including Linux and Windows.
- Experience with virtualization, hypervisors, and securing Microsoft Windows operating systems.
- Strong skills in using productivity software (Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn new technologies quickly.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5-10 years of relevant engineering work experience.
