What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant AD, Compliance and Legal Services position at Marshall University?
- Serve as the liaison to the area of Enrollment Management and other campus departments. ·
- Implement proactive education program; compile information from high schools and junior colleges which will assist the Registrar and/or Admissions Office with interpreting certification and eligibility forms.
- Provide interpretations of NCAA rules to Athletic Department.
- Determine scholarship equivalencies; interpret financial aid rules and regulations and communicate with the Conference office.
- Provide leadership in admissions of international student-athletes.
- Coordinate and monitor eligibility of initial enrollees through the NCAA Eligibility Center, as well as monitor and enforce student-athletes’ employee program including “The Herd Internship Program” for students with exhausted eligibility aid.
- Assist General Counsel in the review and approval of athletic department and university contracts.
