Job Title:Customer Service and Office Coordinator
Part-Time Shift: 32 hours: 1st Shift 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (4-day work week). Fridays are off!
Full-Time Shift: 40 hours: 1st Shift 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Mon – Thurs, Friday 8 to 12 pm
Salary: $16 to $22 based on experience.
Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service and Office Coordinator. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth communication with customers and suppliers, managing office operations, and supporting production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate with customers via emails and phone calls, addressing inquiries about order deliveries and status updates.
Follow up with suppliers to get status updates on purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery.
Act as the office in-charge, answering phones and managing office operations.
Order office supplies and shop supplies to support production processes.
Collaborate with different departments and our sister facility in India to gather information, facilitate with production and quality documents, and ensure high-quality customer service.
Assist in expediting orders internally and with suppliers, including supporting the shipping process and managing paperwork.
Organizing and maintaining digital and physical records of documents and certs. for easy retrieval from various internal departments, suppliers, and customers.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Prior experience in customer service or office administration.
Proficiency in using office software and tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in a machine shop or industrial environment is a plus.
