Human Resources Manager
Reporting to the owner and General Manager, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing store personnel matters including interviewing & hiring, employee benefits, and disciplinary procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Consult with managers to identify hiring needs and preferred qualifications
- Interview applicants, contact references, and perform background checks
- Maintain company benefit programs
- Conduct new hire orientations and process new hire paperwork
- Coordinate workforce to the best use of employees' talents
- Resolve conflicts and issues between employees
- Direct disciplinary procedures
- Attend management meetings
- Maintain compliance with applicable local, state, and federal human resource laws and regulations
- Maintain employee files
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Abilities
- Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Able to work independently and also be a team player
- Basic knowledge of computers, fax machines, copier/printers, and email, and the willingness and ability to quickly learn unfamiliar technology
- Flexibility in all areas, including but not limited to work schedule, duties, and responsibilities, extreme weather conditions, etc.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Previous HR experience

Salary : $37,400 - $47,300
