Martin Transportation Systems has an opening for a Working Shop Foreman at our Grand Prairie, TX facility. This is a working foreman position, the ideal candidate would have both managerial skills and experience, along with heavy duty truck experience.
REQUIRMENTS:
- Fluent use of Class 8 software for tractors and trailers

Knowledge and experience with the following engine systems:
- Cummins
- Detroit
- Knowledge of different tires & cost of maintaining tires on tractors and trailers
- Cost of maintaining tractors and trailers
- Maintain and preserve proper inventory management
- Effective Communication skills
- Effective leadership skills
Position Qualifications:
- Professionalism-in both employee management and customer service
- Past Management experience
- Diesel Mechanic experience
- Strong Communication Skills
- Lead mechanic experience, minimum 3 years
- Knowledge of compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations a plus.
- Demonstrated track record of achievement and success
