Masis Professional Group is hiring for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager in our Bedford, MA location! This person works closely with customers and internal/external suppliers on Quality Assurance initiatives across global operating groups including China, Japan, USA, and Europe. Emphasis is placed on understanding key accounts and developing account requirements above and beyond general specifications. Introduces Quality Assurance initiatives that provide operational groups balanced and clear objectives aimed at providing customers with 100% first article acceptance. Implements Quality Assurance practices such as FMEA, DOE, FACA, SPC and others where practical or necessary. Requires frequent domestic travel and periodic Asian travel in support of these quality initiatives. Supports products in the automotive, semiconductor or other industries.
Achievement of objectives must include an overriding commitment to quality that must permeate the areas of responsibility. Enable and Drive Change in the Organization.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Develops and implements quality assurance initiatives across the global operating groups.
- Understands and defines requirements and specifications for key accounts and communicates these requirements to each manufacturing source.
- Develops and implements organizational capabilities in the areas of CE, FAIR, Customer Deviation Requests , SCAR, 8-D’s, Supplier Quality Management, and other quality assurance methods suitable for Ferrotec’s Vacuum Feedthrough and Metals Contract Manufacturing product lines..
- Responsible for the management of the Quality Assurance Program.
- Manages the Team of Inspectors, Supplier Quality Engineers, and support Administrators.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Strong Semiconductor Market experience
- Strong Copy Exactly experiences
- Very familiar with First Article requirements and supportive paperwork
- CMM experience, can run and program
- Experience with Stainless Steels and Aluminum
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent demonstrated work experience
- 10 years’ experience in quality engineering and quality assurance techniques
- Strong computer skills, including Excel and Word
- Results-oriented management style
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills
Salary : $95,000 - $125,000
