Electrician Job Description
At Masis Professional Group, we are seeking a skilled Electrician to work on behalf of our client located in Ayer, MA. This direct hire opportunity offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Read, interpret, and execute drawings, schematics, blueprints, and electrical code specifications.
- Install, repair, or replace AC/DC motors, drives, transformers, starters, relays, hydraulic & gas electrical controls, electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, line assemblies, lighting, and alternative electrical parts.
- Install electrical circuits, panels, conduit, protecting devices, switches, and equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.
Requirements:
- Active Journeyman Electrician License for the state of Mass.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical work.
- Knowledge of local and national electrical codes.
- Previous experience working with Industrial Machinery from a technical perspective.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
