What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Manager/Coordinator position at Massage By Design?
Massage by Design is looking for an Event Manager for a 3 day event! Wednesday 5/14 12-5PM, Thursday 5/15 12-5pm, and 5/16 12-3pm. This event is located in New Orleans, LA. The Event Manager needs to have good communication skills, ability to manage a small crew of 4 therapists, reliable transportation, arrive early to assist in load in and be the onsite contact for the client and the therapists!

Therapists will be selected based on ability to represent Massage by Design with professionalism and a presence which is conducive to the overall image of health and wellness.
Basic Requirements:
- Current Massage Therapy certification or license
- Proof of GL insurance
- Must have a professional grade chair that is fully functional and in good repair
- Bring sanitizing materials to events
- Proficient knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication skills to ‘design’ a welcoming, safe and relaxing atmosphere
- Ability to work with deadlines and respond to emails in a timely manner
- Ability to incorporate a variety of massage techniques and tools if necessary
- Good time management- Reliable transportation
- Friendly Disposition
- Wear attire that is appropriate for performing chair massage
- Dependability and reliability are a must!
*Therapists may hand out their business cards or contact info for outcall or their private practice. Soliciting chair massage from our client is not allowed.
