Job Responsibilities

Know how to read blueprint
Able to check X & Y location dimensional callouts with no assistance.
Able to properly use measuring equipment not limited to
Micrometers
Gage Pins
Thread Gages
Calipers
Optical Comparator
Micro-Hites
Drop Indicators
Dial Indicator
Profilometer
Identify & check geometric dimensional callouts (@ least 5 different ones)
Inspection of mechanical parts.
Creating inspection reports.
Know AQL sampling plan
Screening through lots to separate conforming and Non-conforming material
Create and Save NMR reports
Filling out Routers
Counting quantities of parts
Transferring jobs to next operations
Putting back any measuring equipment from job at end of shift
Logging in and out of JobBoss data system daily
Maintain a clean work area
Arrive to work on time

Experince and Education

High school diploma or Equivalent

Minimum 2 years industry experience preferred

Trade school a plus

JobBoss knowledge preferred
