What does a Fiber Technician do?
Technicians are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fiber optic broadband equipment. This includes installing new systems, repairing existing ones, splicing fibers, and integrating network infrastructure.
Key duties include:
- Installing, splicing, repairing, and terminating fiber-optic cables and connectors in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Keeping detailed records of installations, repairs, and the equipment used, while also generating reports and documenting network configurations.
- Applying personal ethics, integrity, initiative, flexibility, and responsibility in all tasks.
- Ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

- Pay: $22 - $24 per hour
Our requirements:
- Ability to lift 60-80 pounds and climb ladders up to 36 feet
- A valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass drug tests, background checks, and driving record checks
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends if required
