Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of various outdoor spaces. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall health and beauty of our clients landscapes.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Execute tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and enhance appearance.
- Utilize hand tools and mechanical equipment for various landscaping projects.
- Dig and prepare soil for planting, ensuring optimal conditions for growth.
- Maintain grounds by clearing debris, performing snow plowing during winter months, and ensuring pathways are safe.
- Assist in building landscape features such as flower beds, patios, or retaining walls as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of landscape areas to identify issues or areas needing attention.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of landscaping projects.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with lawn care practices and knowledge of plant species is beneficial.
- Mechanical knowledge to operate landscaping equipment effectively is an asset.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with team members and clients.
