SUMMARY
Responsible for overseeing all of case management at the Eastside Shelter and Hannah More. Responsibilities include hiring, training and supervising Case Manager(s). In collaboration with the Director, Eastside Shelter, the Clinical Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the highest level of performance of all Case Managers to ensure that the clients have excellent care based on the SVDP model of Trauma Informed Care, Crisis Prevention and Mediation, and Housing First. This position is also responsible for assisting the agency’s Division Directors with agency-wide goals including implementing Trauma Informed Care and other initiatives for SVDP. Oversee the coordination of all aspects of resident transitions from shelter to permanent housing.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Provides strong leadership and direction of all case management services with a clinical approach.
- Facilitates bi-weekly clinical case conferencing with case managers to provide updates on client participation, housing status, and identify barriers to housing.
- Conducts monthly review of all active client case files to ensure all documents are updated and included in each case file.
- Reviews HMIS weekly to ensure all HMIS data is entered in a timely manner.
- Conducts routine face to face supervision of staff, no less than once a month.
- Ensures the appropriate documentation is reviewed and retained on residents including progress notes, incident reports, and daily logs.
- Develop a MSW student internship program including clinical supervision and training of students. Task supervision is at the program level.
- Also provide direct supervision for case managers seeking state licensure that are employed at the current site.
SECONDARY DUTIES
- Keep updated on the most effective means of accessing services available within the larger community and maintain an active database for referrals and community partners.
- Create a welcoming and positive environment for volunteers, ensure that they are used effectively to meet program goals, and provide direction to staff on how to incorporate them into their work.
- Attend and fully participate in all necessary staff meetings, other internal and external meetings, and meetings with on and off-site service providers.
- Create an atmosphere of care and respect for clients.
- Uphold the vision, mission, and values of St. Vincent de Paul.
- Other duties as assigned, within the scope of the position.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s in Social Work or related field required.
- Current LMSW preferred, or MSW working toward licensure may be considered.
- 3 years of postgraduate clinical experience required; hands-on experience working with persons who are homeless and/or materially poor.
- 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
- Willing and able to work in a high-energy and organized environment and prioritize the needs of participants and workload.
- Knowledge of and respect for confidentiality.
- Ability to relate in a respectful, comfortable, non-judgmental manner with persons from all ethnic, socio-economic, and religious backgrounds.
- Desire and ability to work as a member of a team.

Salary : $68,000 - $76,000
