Summary
This person is responsible for the daily supervision of general operations and personnel performing technical tasks in the department/shift assigned. Supervisors manage any staffing, procedural, or technical problems that may occur. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, communication, and compassionate care. This person aids the department manager and director in assuring quality service within the guidelines set by regulatory agencies. This person also assists in ensuring that regulatory and hospital standards are implemented fairly and promptly and that appropriate documentation is maintained.

Responsibilities
The following duties fall under the responsibility of the Clinical Supervisor Medical Assistant but are not limited to:
- Rooming patients and obtaining vitals
- Entering patient information into electronic medical record (EMR)
- Setting up and assisting with office procedures
- Chaperone providers during patient examination
- Taking pre-op and post-op photos of patients
- Maintaining surgical instruments and transporting instruments to Central Sterile (CSS)
- Processing surgical specimens and transporting them to Pathology
- Maintaining and stocking exam rooms
- ordering clinical supplies
- Completing FMLA and Disability forms
- Cleaning and resetting exam rooms
- Travel to satellite locations as needed
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Education and Work Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of one year experience is preferred as a Medical Assistant or EMT-Paramedic
- N/A
- Certification Requirements:
- CPR-preferred
- Medical Assistant Certification- preferred

- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
- Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
- Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
