Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor to lead our team in providing high-quality mental health services in our non-profit setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical supervision and demonstrate expertise in various therapeutic modalities. This role is essential for ensuring that our clinical staff deliver effective treatment while adhering to best practices and ethical standards for survivors impacted by sexual violence, intimate partner violence, and human trafficking. The Clinical Supervisor will also play a key role in supporting it's team of licensed therapists across our office sites.

SUMMARY

TurnAround Inc is the designated rape crisis center for Baltimore City and County. The Clinical

Supervisor is responsible for supporting our trauma therapists work in providing trauma informed individual therapy to support survivors who have experienced sexual violence; adults and adolescents who have experienced intimate partner violence and children who have witnessed intimate partner violence as well as supporters. The Clinical Supervisor will also independently provide direct therapy services to an established number of survivors and provide direct supervision to master level clinicians and clinical interns in our Baltimore County, Baltimore City, and Howard County office locations.

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

STARTING SALARY: 85,000 annually (based on licensure and experience)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervisory duties:

• Provide clinical supervision to LMSW or LGPC level trauma therapists.
• Collect, analyze, and complete data reporting in alignment with requirements for both the agency and funders.
• Attend internal and external meetings with staff and community stakeholders.
• Provides task supervision to interns in the therapeutic services program.
• Assist Clinical Director with programmatic responsibilities i.e., policies and procedures.

Clinical Duties

• Incorporates trauma-informed care philosophy, practices and strategies in all activities.
• Provide trauma informed and culturally competent, individual, and group counseling for survivors of sexual trauma and crisis counseling as needed.
• Provides in-person and virtual therapy for adults, children and adolescent survivors of sexual violence, and their nonoffending family members, partners, guardians or loved ones.
• Facilitate support groups (optional).
• Maintain small caseload of individual clients.
• Implement trainings to professional groups and organizations.
• Completes data collection, data entry and required reports and other related. administrative paperwork in accordance with program timelines and standards.
• Attend internal and external meetings with staff.
• Promote, support and demonstrate TurnAround’s mission, vision and values through both behavior and job performance and adhere to policies, procedures, and standards on a day to day basis.
• Effectively coordinates client care with other service providers and community resources to assure continuity of care as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or a related field
• Valid Clinical License in Maryland (LCSW-C, LCPC)
• Board approved supervisor (LCSW-C, LCPC) or within 6 months of start date complete supervision training
• Knowledge of issues of sexual trauma and gender-based violence
• Proven experience with trauma informed counseling
• Demonstrates cultural competency in working with a diverse population
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Thrives in a dynamic environment
• Knowledge of database management systems
• Ability to work two evenings a week is required
• Bi-lingual highly encouraged to apply
• 3 years direct clinical service with survivors of sexual violence required

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position performs its’ duties in a standard office environment with potential for some remote work on an agreed upon schedule with approval of the Clinical Director, Deputy Director or Executive Director. This position may need to be accessible to take emergency phone calls after hours and weekends to offer guidance as individualized circumstances are identified and occur.

HOURS: Position is full-time, standard 9:00am- 5:00pm Mon.- Fri, with two evenings (11am until 8pm) each week

TRAVEL:

Travel is required between the Baltimore County, Downtown, and Howard County offices; some additional light travel within state for in-person meetings or training.

3. Ability to complete grant reporting narratives.

4. Ability to evaluate and analyze program data.
