    Class Summary:
    The Grants Coordinator will primarily manage Title I schools, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations regarding documentation and grant funding. This role involves overseeing Title I expenditures, coordinating required reporting, and ensuring proper documentation is in place for state and federal monitoring. The coordinator will work closely with school personnel, community partners, and external agencies to guarantee compliance, promote academic success, and eliminate barriers to educational access.

    Required Qualifications:
    • Experience working in public schools, preferably with Title I programs
    • In-depth knowledge of Title I regulations and grant management
    • Strong understanding of data interpretation and dissemination
    • Proficient in using technology, including word processing, data management tools, and learning management systems
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with stakeholders
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
    • Previous education, training, work, or life experience which provides reasonable evidence of the successful performance of the various tasks listed.
    • Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

    Essential Functions of the Position:
    • Grant Management & Documentation: Ensure Title I grant expenditures are processed accurately, maintaining fidelity to program goals and compliance requirements.
    • State & Federal Compliance: Compile and submit necessary documentation and data for state and federal monitoring of Title I programs.
    • Staff Coordination & Training: Assist in the coordination and training of school personnel regarding Title I procedures, ensuring staff is knowledgeable about compliance and documentation.
    • Data Integrity: Correlate district reports with state-level reports to ensure data accuracy and consistency, preventing discrepancies in reporting.
    • Collaboration with School Personnel: Work directly with school staff to ensure proper use of Title I funds, including supporting the needs of eligible students.
    • Community Outreach: Foster positive relationships with community partners, ensuring students and families are supported both academically and socially.
    • Provides training for district staff to increase awareness of Title I funding, legal responsibilities, and documentation practices.
    • Organizes a districtwide calendar of supplemental classes, programs, and events designed to support Title I students.
    • Represents the district positively by maintaining clear communication with school personnel and community stakeholders, including updates through social media and district webpage/posts.
    • Responds to policy and procedural inquires not requiring the Supervisors attention.
    • Prepares grant information and calendar for School Board, i.e. List of Title 1 engagement activities.
    • Assists with developing, tracking, analyzing, amending, and reporting of grant documentation.
    • Assists in the compilation of grant applications and revisions to grant funding agencies. Follows up as needed for timely approvals and reporting.
    • Assists in grant application requests and information for the grant management system.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Skills:
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills.
    • Computer operations to include advanced skills in word processing, spreadsheets and the district's accounting system.
    • Thorough knowledge of federal program grant regulations.
    • Thorough knowledge of federal grant budgeting processes.
    • Thorough knowledge of office skills to include computer operations, word processing, spreadsheet, database, and basic office management/accounting skills.
    • Excellent knowledge with Microsoft and Google apps.
