We are seeking a highly motivated Payment Solutions Specialist to join our team at Matco Tools. As a Payment Solutions Specialist, you will play a critical role in establishing payment solutions for past-due credit accounts via outbound and inbound customer call interactions. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a guaranteed $400 monthly performance bonus for the first 3 months.
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of collections experience in a call center environment and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. They must also have a high sense of integrity and be able to work independently with minimal direction. This role requires a hybrid schedule, with Tuesdays through Thursdays on-site at our headquarters in Stow, OH, and Mondays and Fridays from home.
As a Payment Solutions Specialist at Matco Tools, your responsibilities will include:
- Establishing payment solutions for past-due credit accounts via outbound and inbound customer call interactions.
- Utilizing effective communication and influencing skills to determine reasons for delinquency and to advise of proper payment arrangements.
- Documenting collection actions and status of account.
- Processing electronic debit, credit, and check payments over the phone.
- Maintaining professional interaction with all Matco Tools personnel and customers at all times.
