Lt. Substitute Teacher: Spanish

Mater Dei High School, a Catholic, co-educational, college preparatory high school of the Diocese of Orange has an immediate opening for a Long-Term Substitute Spanish Teacher. The ideal candidate must demonstrate current knowledge of the subject area and be a dynamic and dedicated educator to serve in the department. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and Teaching Credential in Spanish High school teaching experience preferred CPR Certified Qualified candidates will be able to: Support a student-centered atmosphere implementing a Problem Based Learning Plan and execute lessons that are data driven, incorporate research-based methodologies, and are designed to engage and support all learners. Design learning experiences for students that place value on innovation, inquiry, and creativity. Offer collaborative and individual learning opportunities that support student growth. Incorporate educational technology into the classroom in an authentic manner to enhance the learning experience. Actively collaborate with fellow teachers to design lessons, analyze data, and write common assessments. Additional Responsibilities: Acts as a professional role model in a Catholic environment.
