Your Role
As an Early Head Start Bilingual Case Manager (Advocate), you’ll use your proficiency in Spanish to provide essential support with early learning and curriculum-based home visits to families, supporting their health, social empowerment, and child development. You’ll work closely with families to identify their needs, set goals, and connect them to vital resources in the community. Your role is crucial in helping parents become their child's first and most important teacher.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct weekly home visits to provide guidance and resources on child development and health.
Support pregnant women with education on prenatal care and early childhood development.
Help families access social services and community resources.
Facilitate educational sessions and workshops for parents and families.
Document client interactions and maintain accurate records.
Engage in community outreach to raise awareness of our services and support enrollment.

What We’re Looking For:
- Fluency in Spanish is essential, with the ability to speak, read, and write in both English and Spanish
- AA/AAS in Early Childhood Education, Social Services, Sociology, Psychology, or Human Services; a BA/BS is preferred.
- Ability to travel within the Greater Philadelphia or Montgomery County area for home visits.
- 2 years of experience in community outreach or direct services.
- Strong knowledge of child development, pregnancy, and maternal health.
- Compassionate, professional, and culturally sensitive approach to working with diverse families.
