Job Title: Client Relations and Event Planning Manager for FREIGHT Event Center
Location: Leadville, Colorado
Hours: Part-Time (30 hours/week) with in-office requirements

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Client Relations and Event Planning Manager to join our team at a 220-capacity event venue nestled in the heart of the Colorado mountains. This role is instrumental in ensuring smooth operations and outstanding experiences for our clients and partners. The ideal candidate will excel in communication, collaboration, and relationship-building, working closely with the Sales Manager and Operations Manager to create seamless events for a diverse range of clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Acquisitions & Partnerships
•Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with local vendors and service providers.
•Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with vendors to ensure quality services for all events.
2.Event Planning Support
• Serve as a resource for event hosts, providing planning guidance and ensuring their vision is executed effectively. This will sometimes entail being present at the event.
• Act as a liaison between hosts, vendors, and the venue team to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
3.Community Engagement
• Collaborate with local nonprofits, government entities, and community organizations to host public and private events.
•Build relationships with corporate clients, supporting retreats and team-building events.
• Facilitate wedding planning and other milestone celebrations with professionalism and care.
4.Client Relationship
•Provide exceptional customer service to clients before, during, and after events.
•Anticipate client needs and proactively address potential challenges to ensure satisfaction.
5.Administrative Duties
•Maintain accurate records of vendor contracts, client communications, and event details.
•Assist the CEO with reporting and strategic planning related to partnerships and client feedback.
Qualifications
•Experience: Minimum of 2 years in customer relationship management, event planning, or a related role.
•Preferred: Degree in a field related to hospitality, event management, or communication
Skills:
•Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and phone).
•Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
•Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with sales and operations teams.
•Technology: Proficient in event management software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
