Join our dynamic team at Matrix Inc and help us manage safety and compliance for a fleet of over 70 trucks. We're looking for a Safety Clerk who can oversee approximately 25 trucks, ensuring all operational standards are met and maintained. This is a pivotal role within our Safety department where tech orientation, compliance, and communication skills converge to keep our operations running smoothly and safely.
What You Will Do:
- Utilize industry-leading logistics software like Ditat, Tenstreet, and Motive to maintain driver and vehicle records.
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA, CSA, Hazmat, and other relevant regulations.
- Maintain meticulous records of qualifications, logbooks, and safety reports.
- Manage time efficiently to ensure all safety and compliance activities are completed within deadlines.
- Organize and preserve all compliance paperwork, driver records, and equipment logs.
- Communicate effectively, ensuring clear conveyance of policies and procedures across all levels of the organization.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with drivers and team members to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Drive results through continuous performance evaluation and goal-setting.
- Address and resolve safety issues and emergencies swiftly and decisively.
